Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Guyton Christian Church in Guyton, Georgia, as they search for their next Pastor. Guyton Christian Church is a small-town, multigenerational congregation with a rich history of faithful ministry and a deep commitment to worship, community, and service.

The Pastor will serve as the spiritual leader of the church, providing biblical preaching, pastoral care, and collaborative leadership to help guide the church into its next season of ministry.

• Grounded in faith and able to work collaboratively with church leadership.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is focused on steady, relational leadership, with an emphasis on presence and care. The Pastor will shepherd a congregation that values traditional worship, strong personal connections, and authentic community. Guyton Christian Church is looking for a pastor who can nurture existing relationships while encouraging spiritual growth and outreach in the surrounding area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and deliver weekly sermons and lead worship services.
• Provide pastoral care, including hospital and home visits.
• Offer leadership and guidance alongside church leadership in ministry planning.
• Officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and communion.
• Represent the church within the local community and support outreach efforts.
