The Head of School role at Logos Academy offers the opportunity to lead a Christ-centered, culturally rich, urban K-12 Classical education community that is deeply committed to the flourishing of its students and families. They will be a strong and seasoned leader who will join a school where relational warmth, Gospel-anchored formation, and academic ambition intersect in meaningful ways every day. The Head of School will oversee key academic, operational, and community-facing quadrants of the organization, guiding the daily life of the school while helping cultivate a unified, mission-focused leadership team. With a growing program and an expanding footprint in the region of York, Pennsylvania, the next leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s future, strengthening its systems, and championing its heart for students, families, and the city.

POSITION OVERVIEW


This Head of School role at Logos Academy represents a rare and deeply meaningful leadership opportunity for a strong, seasoned, educational leader to guide a beloved, mission-anchored urban classical Christian school into its next chapter. The next leader will inherit a community shaped by two decades of relational strength, diversity, and a clear commitment to seeing the image of God in every student, while also being entrusted with strengthening the systems, academic structures, and organizational alignment needed for future growth. With a school poised at the convergence of history, mission, and momentum, the role calls for someone who can honor the heartbeat of the community, shepherd faculty through change with steadiness and empathy, and champion a classical model that remains accessible and compelling to a richly varied student body. 


This position requires a seasoned leader who understands organizational leadership and can evaluate decisions through a strategic lens that considers scalability, sustainability, and institutional strength. The Head of School will help articulate and build the systems, rhythms, and structures that enable the school to grow with health and integrity. The role will primarily provide consistent operational leadership for faculty, staff, paraprofessionals, and students, ensuring that every layer of the organization reflects excellence, mission, and care. They will also partner closely with the CEO, Board, leadership team, advancement office, and community stakeholders, offering clear direction and nurturing strong internal alignment. Logos thrives when collaboration is strong, communication is clear, and stewardship is intentional, and the next Head of School will play a central role in strengthening these pillars and positioning the school for a vibrant and impactful future.


Educational leaders with significant K-12 senior leadership experience, especially those who have led in complex, diverse, or city-centered contexts, will find this role aligned with their deepest vocational convictions. A strong preference is given to leaders with classical education experience or demonstrated fluency in its philosophy and practice.
