Lexington Presbyterian is firmly grounded in Reformed, Calvinist doctrine and values strong biblical preaching and teaching. The congregation is friendly, supportive, and welcoming. While currently skewing a bit older, the church has historically had a good mix of ages and family demographics. Financially stable and owning its property, the church is situated in a desirable area with access to amenities like the lake, mountains, and good school districts. The church is also currently searching for its next teaching elder/pastor. Close collaboration with the new teaching elder/pastor will be key, as the church navigates this transitional period with an eye toward continued spiritual growth and outreach to the community, reflecting their missional focus. The Director of Music and Worship at Lexington Presbyterian Church (LPC) plays a vital role in creating Christ-centered, theologically rich worship experiences. This full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the senior pastor in shaping meaningful worship liturgy, leading vocal and instrumental music, and cultivating a vibrant culture of congregational singing that beautifully blends traditional hymns with modern compositions.
