Cross Community Church is one church in multiple locations, doing whatever it takes to reach people who are far from God and lead them into a growing relationship with Christ. The Campus Pastor plays a vital role in leading a local campus and carrying out the vision, values, and excellence of CCC in a highly relational, high-energy environment.. 

This position requires someone who is passionate about building the local church and making a measurable difference in their community. The Campus Pastor will preach approximately 40x per year, lead the campus staff, recruit and train leaders, oversee campus perations, and build community with the people of the local campus. They must thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-driven culture and love seeing lives changed for Christ.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Cross Community Church is seeking a dynamic, relational leader to serve as the Campus Pastor for the Marion Campus. This individual will play a crucial role in continuing the church's momentum and expanding their reach within the local community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively oversee and develop the staff and volunteer teams at the Marion campus. They must be highly relational, outgoing, and engaged in the community, able to connect authentically with the congregation and build meaningful partnerships.

Exceptional communication and teaching abilities are a must, as the Campus Pastor will be responsible for delivering relevant, biblically sound messages that inspire and challenge the people. This leader must also demonstrate a collaborative spirit, working seamlessly with the existing leadership team and embracing the church's structure and governance.

Ultimately, Cross Community is looking for a servant leader who can manage people and teams with wisdom and grace. This individual will play a pivotal role in continuing the church's momentum, reaching the unchurched, and impacting the local community for the sake of the gospel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set expectations and inspect regularly, ensuring a strong CCC culture and experience
• Preach at weekend services approximately 40x per year
• Build and develop campus teams, including staff and volunteers
• Recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders across all ministry areas
• Engage guests and help people take next steps (salvation, baptism, serving, life groups)
• Represent the church in the local community with outreach and visibility
