Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Grace Chapel in Foxborough, MA, as they search for their next Foxboro Campus Pastor. Grace Chapel is a vibrant, multi-site church originally founded in Lexington, Massachusetts, with additional campuses in Wilmington, Watertown, and Foxborough. The church is known for biblical teaching, thoughtful engagement with culture, and a welcoming, accessible presence in the community. Marked by racial and ethnic diversity, strong children and student engagement, and a deep commitment to discipleship across all ages, Grace Chapel seeks to form disciples who thoughtfully and faithfully follow Jesus in today’s world.
Grace Chapel is seeking a dedicated and gifted Campus Pastor to lead its Foxboro Campus. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong desire to advance God’s kingdom work in the region and will inspire, build, and lead a congregation of committed leaders, volunteers, and attendees.
The ideal candidate will be:
Genuinely loves people and carries a deep pastoral instinct to care for, guide, and protect others. Builds trust naturally through warmth, authenticity, and spiritual maturity. Sees shepherding not as a task, but as a calling—pursuing people intentionally, cultivating belonging, and caring for souls with wisdom and compassion.
Deeply rooted in historic Christian orthodoxy, while able to navigate complex theological and cultural issues with wisdom and balance. Embodies Grace Chapel’s convictional center—firm on core gospel truths and gracious on secondary matters.
Leads confidently within Grace Chapel’s “one church with many campuses” model. Champions the central vision and ministry philosophy, ensuring strong alignment rather than independent direction.
Serves as the visible, welcoming presence of the Foxboro Campus—guiding the flow of Sunday gatherings with warmth, clarity, and confidence. Communicates Scripture and vision in engaging and accessible ways, reinforcing culture and connection. Preaches when needed, recognizing that while teaching is important, the primary role is shaping and leading the overall Sunday experience.
Understands how ministry systems and processes function together and creates, refines, and maintains clear, repeatable workflows. Effectively utilizes Church Community Builder (CCB) to track attendance, manage volunteer scheduling, monitor engagement metrics, and oversee follow-up processes.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Campus Pastor of Grace Chapel’s Foxboro Campus is a visionary, shepherding leader who serves as the primary spiritual and visible presence for a growing, diverse congregation just south of Boston. As part of a thriving multi-site church with a mission to “make and mobilize more disciples for Jesus Christ,” this pastor leads the Foxboro Campus within the broader vision and strategy of Grace Chapel—championing community, outreach, and spiritual growth. With live worship and local hosting each week and teaching streamed from the Lexington campus, the Foxboro Campus Pastor focuses on cultivating a compelling Sunday experience, building strong relationships, and ensuring that every person who walks through the doors feels seen, welcomed, and invited into deeper discipleship.
This leader oversees and develops a dedicated campus staff team (currently three full-time and one part-time) and equips volunteers to serve with excellence across ministries. A key priority is building and sustaining a high-quality, volunteer-driven Life Community ministry as the primary connection point for discipleship and belonging. The Campus Pastor also shapes strategies for growth and community engagement, strengthens partnerships within the Foxboro area, and preaches periodically to cast local vision and contextualize Grace Chapel’s teaching. Ideal for a relational, entrepreneurial pastor who thrives on developing leaders and fostering authentic community, this role offers the opportunity to shepherd a vibrant campus while contributing to the momentum of a unified, multi-campus church.
