POSITION OVERVIEW

The Executive Pastor at Hope Church in Dubuque, IA, plays a vital role in partnering with the Senior Pastor to execute the church’s vision while nurturing both spiritual and organizational health. This role requires a visionary leader with a relational team-building style and a pastoral heart that demonstrates genuine care for the congregation. They will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, shepherding staff, and aligning ministries with the church’s mission to help people connect with God. This role offers a unique opportunity to support a thriving ministry and create a meaningful, lasting impact on the church community.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in tandem with the senior pastor as they implement the vision for the church
  • Shepherds, supports, and leads the staff
  • Develops and oversees the annual budget and monitors finances
  • Oversee the implementation and development of church ministries
  • Organizes and facilitates weekly staff meetings
  • Serves as a consultant to the Elder Board
