The position requires a candidate who is teachable, flexible, open to innovative approaches, and willing to think outside the box to meet the needs of students and families. The Student Ministry Director will play a crucial role in building an engaging ministry that attracts young people while equipping them with the tools to deepen their faith and grow as leaders within the church. Candidates with a heart for relational ministry, leadership development skills, and a visionary mindset will find this opportunity both challenging and rewarding.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Create an environment and culture that fosters spiritual growth in students and their families, guiding them One Step Closer to God and each other through Christ. Build and support a team of volunteers dedicated to equipping the next generation through biblical teaching, meaningful connections, and expressions of God’s love and care.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide vision and strategy for student ministry programming and events.
  • Plan and execute weekly programs while supporting students and families through care and encouragement.
  • Recruit and develop volunteers to help guide students and families closer to God.
  • Engage with families to combine church and family influence for spiritual growth.
  • Be present at student events and offer pastoral care as needed.
  • Ensure student safety by adhering to church policies and collaborate with the ministry team.
