Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with CrossLife Church in Oviedo, Florida as they search for their next Pastor/Director of Production and Communications. CrossLife is a vibrant, multi-generational Southern Baptist church known for strong biblical teaching, family-focused ministry, and a clear commitment to gospel-centered outreach. With a growing congregation and a healthy, unified staff, CrossLife is in a season of spiritual revitalization and organizational momentum.

The Pastor/Director of Production and Communications will give strategic and spiritual leadership to the church’s Creative Arts, AVL Production, and Communications teams. This leader will be instrumental in shaping CrossLife’s worship environments, digital presence, and storytelling efforts across all platforms. The role calls for a leader who is both technically proficient and relationally gifted, someone who thrives in collaboration, discipleship, and high-level creative execution.


The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in large-church AVL and production environments

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a high-impact, full-time pastoral or directorial position responsible for unifying the creative voice of the church and developing people and systems to support worship, storytelling, and church-wide communication. The Pastor/Director of Production and Communications will work closely with the Worship and Executive Pastors, serving as both an artist and an architect, leading from the heart while driving excellence in execution.

CrossLife is looking for someone who can elevate the Sunday experience, strengthen the church’s creative culture, and help communicate the gospel with clarity, consistency, and visual excellence.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic and pastoral leadership to the Creative/Production/Communications teams
  • Oversee AVL systems, stage design, and event production
  • Lead branding and content strategy across all media platforms
  • Develop, train, and mobilize volunteer teams
  • Collaborate on Sunday services and seasonal events (Easter, Christmas, etc.)
  • Champion visual and creative consistency that reflects the mission of CrossLife
